2021 Grammy Predictions: Dua Lipa, Post Malone & More (Pop Shop Podcast)

OK, we know we're all just out here trying to make it through a very bizarre and unprecedented 2020 -- but why not take a few moments to look ahead to the future and discuss some (very early) predictions for the 2021 Grammy Awards in the meantime? Consider it your escapism for the day.

So escape with us and listen to the brand-new Pop Shop Podcast episode below, in which we take an early look at the Big Four categories for next year: album, record and song of the year, plus best new artist. Pop Shop hosts Keith Caulfield & Katie Atkinson agree that Dua Lipa (Future Nostalgia and its Pop Songs airplay No. 1 lead single "Don't Start Now"), Post Malone (Hollywood's Bleeding and its Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper "Circles") and Harry Styles (Fine Line and its current Pop Songs No. 1 "Adore You") all look poised to dominate the 2021 conversation.

You'll have to take a listen to hear all of our picks, and you can tweet @keith_caulfield or @ktatkinson with your own 2021 Grammys predictions.

For the record, the eligibility period for the 2021 Grammys runs from Sept. 1, 2019, through Aug. 31, 2020. Nominations will most likely be announced in November, as they were last year, and the 2021 Grammy Awards are scheduled to take place on Jan. 31, 2021. So while it seems early to be talking about it, we're more than halfway -- seven months -- through the eligibility year.

Also on the show, Keith & Katie discuss The Weeknd holding at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100, plus more chart moves.
