Glasgow duo Arab Strap bridged folk, indie rock, electronica and some of the thickest Scottish brogues outside of an Irvine Welsh novel. After six albums, Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton went their separate ways in 2006 but the two have regrouped to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band as well as their debut album, The Week Never Starts Round Here. As part of this celebration they're releasing a new version of of their debut single "The First Big Weekend" -- now dubbed "The First Big Weekend of 2016" with production Miaoux Miaoux -- and have announced their first UK shows in five years, which will happen in London, Manchester and Glasgow in October.
