Last night, the new trailer the anticipated film, Black Panther, dropped during halftime the College Football Playf National Championship right after Kendrick Lamar's performance.

It was a fitting time to show the new trailer—not only was the audience for both the game and Kendrick's performance huge but K.Dot is also the curator and producer the film's soundtrack.

Starring Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, Lupita Nyong’o as the spy Nakia, and Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Black Panther's nemesis, the film is undoubtedly one the most anticipated flicks the year. The latest trailer expands a bit on Black Panther's universe, with a few more glimpses into his afro-futuristic homeland Wakanda and course, more action shots.

Plus, the trailer featured snippets an unreleased song from Kendrick and Vince Staples. Last week, another song from the soundtrack featuring Kendrick and SZA dropped, "All the Lights."

Black Panther drops on February 16th. You can buy tickets for the movie now. Check out the new trailer above.
