You know it, I know it, the world knows it: BLACKPINK‘s back in our areaaa later this month – and they’re officially bringing Selena Gomez along for the ride this time around.

As was already heavily speculated for weeks (and never actually denied by YG Entertainment), the special guest feature on the “Kill This Love” quartet’s forthcoming single is none other than the “Naturally” songbird herself, Mizz Selegendary Gomezmerizing. That Reverse Warholian Chromatic Expedition dream of “Even More Sour Candy (Sweeter, Angrier)” with Lady Gaga will just have to wait a little longer, I suppose…

The girls all made the announcement on Tuesday night (August 11) on their respective social media, and revealed that the song will debut on August 28 at midnight EST. It’s the second single to be taken from their forthcoming, eternally delayed debut studio album, which is called…The Album, and it’s out on October 2.

We’ll see! Let us join our hands (to ourselves) in a prayer circle – BLINKs and Selenators, together as one – and pray that this sounds something like…”A Year Without Boombayah,” or maybe “Playing With My Dilemma,” or perhaps “Forever Young Like a Love Song.”
