Camila Cabello’s ‘Romance’ Certified Gold by RIAA

Camila Cabello's sophomore studio album Romance has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, earning more than 600,000 equivalent album units.

Romance was released Dec. 6 via SYCO/Epic Records and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 (chart dated Dec. 21). Per RIAA standards, a gold album has to earn more than 500,000 in equivalent album units; one equivalent album unit is equal to one album sale, 10 tracks sold from an album, or 1,500 on-demand audio and/or video streams from an album.

Overall, Cabello's second project has garnered more than 770 million streams and over 315 million video views. Its lead single, "Señorita," featuring Shawn Mendes, soared to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this summer (chart dated Aug. 31) and earned the songstress her second Hot 100 No. 1, following her solo breakthrough smash "Havana."

Another Romance track gaining serious momentum is "My Oh My," featuring DaBaby, which has so far peaked at No. 24 on Billboard's Pop Songs airplay chart (dated Jan. 18).
