Emotion – otherwise known as E•MO•TION, but more frequently regarded to as one of the Best Pop Albums of the 2010s (this is not opinion, this is purely objective fact) – is already five years old.

To celebrate this milestone, Carly Rae Jepsen, otherwise known as Godly Raemacculate Jepselegend, is having a fun little socially distanced karaoke party to celebrate…and unveiling a bunch of cute special edition merch, too.

The “Run Away With Me” songbird and reigning member of Canadian pop royalty made the announcement earlier this month, just ahead of the 5 year anniversary of the album’s original release date of August 21, 2015 worldwide. (We were all so happy then…)

Five years later, and we’ve got way more than just Boy Problems. Running away, getting lost and making the most of the night with Carly sure sounds nice right about now…if we could. Anyway!

The Notorious CRJ would like to see a video of you singing your favorite song off of the critically acclaimed album. If you’d like to join the party, you need to submit your clip by Monday (August 17) at midnight. You can submit that masterpiece right here.

Not into doing All That? I get it, but you can still tune in to see Carly’s Karaoke Party on YouTube on Thursday (August 27) at 6 p.m. ET.

And if you’re strictly here for the Emotion goodies, head over to Carly Rae Jepsen’s official web store for all the merch. I’m personally very interested in the anniversary vinyls (obviously), and the track listing beach towel is calling out to me as well.

Check out my initial flabbergasted reaction, as well as the complete album review over at PopCrush.
