David Letterman will take his talents to streaming service Netflix with a one-episode per month series. The show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman, will have hour-long episodes and like the title says, the guests are influential enough to stand on their own.
First up on Letterman’s lineup as he ends his retirement and heads back to Hollywood is President Barack Obama, which will also serve as Obama’s first television talk show appearance since his term ended. Other guests that will take the stage with Letterman include George Clooney, Malala Yousafazi, Jay Z and Tina Fey.
Produced by RadicalMedia and Letterman’s own Worldwide Pants, each episode will be centered around the guest, with in-depth, intimate conversations both inside and outside the studio. The inaugural episode airs January 12 and a new episode will be available each month thereafter.
