NYC-based singer-songwriter Dewé shines bright in his new project, the debut LP Colors. Dewé’s natural creative spirit is the main drive behind this afrobeat collection of 10 songs, each displaying a different layer, facet, and aspect of the emerging artist’s artistic personality.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Dewé became a star in his home country shortly after participating in The Voice, Nigeria, where he made it to the finals.
Today, he is more determined than ever to tell his own story through music, driving inspiration from artists like Mali Music, John Legend, Fela, Sam Smith and Erykah Badu.
His special vision to merge African and American sonic influences in his music make his new LP all the more appealing, and a record set to be relatable to music fans worldwide.
