Artists from all genres are featured on the project
Ed Sheeran has announced the collaborators that will appear on No. 6 Collaborations Project that’s set release on CD and LP on July 12th Atlantic Records UK. Eminem, Chris Stapleton and Travis Scott are among the featured artists. Justin Bieber and Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock are featured on the album’s first two singles, respectively.
“I am very happy to share with you the full list of artists I’ve been working with on my new album No. 6 Collaborations Project,” Sheeran shares. “I’m a huge fan of all the artists, whether I’ve been following their work since the beginning or playing their album in my car. I’ve always believed that you should work with people who inspire you and every single collaborator on the new album brings something special to each track. I’ll be sharing new music very soon but for now go pre-order your copy. It’s out on July 12.”
“I Don’t Care” with Justin Bieber shot straight to No. 1 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart and No. 2 overall on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. All 184 Top 40 radio stations added the track, making it only the fifth song in the modern era to win support from the full panel of Mediabase-monitored pop stations. Likewise, all 97 adult radio stations in the country added the song. An instant worldwide phenomenon, “I Don’t Care” hit No. 1 in the UK, Australia, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, and more.
“Before I was signed in 2011, I made an EP called No. 5 Collaborations Project,” Sheeran states. “Since then, I’ve always wanted to do another, so I started No. 6 on my laptop when I was on tour last year. I’m a huge fan of all the artists I’ve collaborated with and it’s been a lot of fun to make.”
No. 6 Collaborations Project follows the widely successful Divide album from 2017. Bundled CD, vinyl and merch packages are available Sheeran’s webstore.
