Song makes TV debut on Jimmy Fallon on June 1st
Grammy Award-winning vocal group Little Big Town will be performing the television premiere of their new single “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: At Home Edition Monday, June 1st on NBC. The song, written by Tofer Brown, Karen Fairchild, Sean McConnell, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook was a fun moment of levity for the band and their co-writers and was completed in under an hour paying homage to friends named Jack, Jose, Brandy, Sherry, and Captain.
“Wine, Beer, Whiskey” is featured on the band’s ninth studio album Nightfall, which debuted at the top spot of Billboard’s Country Chart upon its release this past January. The song was quickly a standout garnering praise from press and fans alike.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album’s chart upon its January 2020 release. It also garnered the quartet a 2020 Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their empowering song, “The Daughters.”
They rescheduled the remainder of its Nightfall Tour due to COVID-19. As of this writing, it’s set to return in August, but could change due to CDC guidelines.
