Madonna Joins London Black Lives Matter Protest

Madonna may be hobbled by a knee injury that caused the cancelation of dates on her Madame X Tour, but she still showed up on Saturday (June 6) to march in a Black Lives Matter protest in Parliament Square.

The event was one of dozens held from Australia and New Zealand to Paris, Warsaw, Lisbon and Montreal in solidarity with peaceful protests in all 50 U.S. states against racism and police brutality.

In videos and photos, Madonna is seen changing "no justice, no peace" and hugging fellow protestors.

"Peaceful Protest with the Fam in The U.K. We marched from Parliament to 10 Downing street. It was an Honor for all of us to be there!! My children were thrilled to be there!!" the singer wrote, tagging the names of her children who joined her.

Madonna's march made her just the latest celeb to join in on the swelling global protest movement, joining the ranks of Nick Cannon, Machine Gun Kelly, Halsey, Lil Yachty, J. Cole, Tinashe, Chika, Paris Jackson, Yungblud and many more.
