Oprah Loves Alicia Keys' Memoir

Alicia Keys took to social media on Wednesday (April 1) to show her love for Oprah showing love to her brand new memoir, More Myself: A Journey.

"I remember the first time @aliciakeys was on The Oprah Show and she hit that note in “Fallin” and I knew right then and there she was special. She just carries the Light with her and I have deep admiration and love for her," Oprah captioned a video of herself reading a poignant excerpt from the book, which was published by the talk show legend's eponymous imprint.

Naturally, the musician was over the moon to receive Oprah's endorsement, writing, "Beautiful you!! You’ve taught me so much about gratitude and grace and being a BOSS. I am forever grateful for your sisterhood!! May we all continue to evolve and find our highest selves!! I adore you and all of you reading this. I adore u beyond words!!"

Keys' memoir follows her 2004 collection of poetry and lyrics, Tears for Water. The star's forthcoming self-titled seventh studio set is scheduled to be released May 15 via RCA Records, and is preceded by lead single "Show Me Love," "Time Machine" and motivational anthem "Underdog."
