Taylor Swift's 'The Man' Behind The Scenes Video

The makeup took five hours to apply.

If you think putting on regular makeup in the morning is hard, try putting on enough to change you into a whole other person. In a new three-minute behind-the-scenes video posted on Friday morning (March 6), Taylor Swift takes us on the journey behind the gender-blending "The Man" video, describing the five-hour process it took to transform her into a bearded wizard of Wall Street every morning.

Swifties get to see a sped-up version of the process, which Taylor says was a "joy" thanks to the magical brush of makeup artist extraordinaire Bill Corso, who previously turned her into a zombie for the "Look What You Made Me Do" video. "I had no idea what they do to your body to make you different," she says over super weird footage of her wearing a skin-colored muscle suit, bald wig and other stuff she didn't even want to get into. "This is a family show," she jokes.

We also get to see Swift working with a movement coach, who helped her figure out undoing two decades of female movement by showing the singer how to swagger into a room like a man while providing the finer points of which parts of a woman dudes stare at first. "Butt and then boobs and then back to butt?" Taylor clarifies.

Taylor also learns how to smoke a cigar through rubber lips while apologizing for almost setting an extra's hair on fire. "I've never adjusted my... underpants like that," she says, asking for help on how to pull off the indelicate maneuver on a subway train.
