According to the Miami Herald, Ultra Music Festival in Miami has been cancelled.
The publication say that a meeting was held on Wednesday morning between Miami’s elected leaders and representatives from Ultra to decide whether the festival would continue as planned between March 20-22.
No ficial statement has been made by Ultra Music Festival as yet but Commissioner Manolo Reyes told the Herald that “The decision was made to postpone it,”.
The cancellation comes in light the recent COVID-19 (also known as Coronavirus) outbreak and the implication wide-scale, worldwide travel by attendees and artists heading to the festival has been growing concern over the last few days.
Mixmag has reached out to Ultra for comment and we are waiting for more information regarding the festival.
