Woman Who Falsely Accused Football Players Of Rape Rolls Eyes During Her Sentencing

Nicki Yovino, a Long Island woman, has been convicted of falsely accusing two football players of rape. She is said to have been rolling her eyes in court while she was being sentenced to a year in prison for her crime.

The woman had previously told the police that she was raped during a party that was hosted by the Sacred Heart University football team in Connecticut. She said two of the players had pulled her into a bathroom in the basement to have nonconsensual sex with her on October 14, 2016.

A few months later, Yovino admitted to lying about her alleged abusers. Her reason for lying involved another man: She didn't want to jeopardize a potential relationship with him.

The arrest warrant stated how Yovino put two man's lives on the line in order to save face after her acts of promiscuity.
